DescriptionDay 05. Thirty-one days of Star Wars (2025 edition).It's Cinco de Mando! Time to imbibe with a Mandalorian margarita. As this issue opens, the Mandalorian defeats a pursuing bounty hunter in a dogfight, but the Razor Crest is damaged, and he lands at a repair facility run by Peli Motto in Mos Eisley on Tatooine. While seeking work to pay for the repairs in a local cantina, he meets Toro Calican, an inexperienced hired gun looking to join the bounty hunters' guild by capturing Fennec Shand, a famed assassin. Despite misgivings, the Mandalorian agrees to let Calican take credit for Shand's capture so long as the repairs are paid for. On this page they agree on a meeting place and time, and the Mandalorian returns to his ship to find Grogu is gone. Peli, meanwhile, has come across "the Child" and begins to take care of it while working on the ship, growing fond of it. I found Amy Sedaris as Peli to be an unexpected highlight of Mandalorian casting. This is the May! Social/Sharing |

Today while the Georges still cling to the Vines,
I'll taste Mando series, I'll ink your sweet line.
A million to Toro shall all pass my pay, 'ere I forget all the joy that is Child, today.
I'll be a Pelli and I'll be repairer, you'll know who I am, Fennic Shand bounty rains.
I'll feast as your Mando, I'll sleep in the Razor, who cares what fake Solo shall bring?

happy Cinco De Mando! all those moments between Pelli and Grogu and Mando are just hilarious, Amy Sedaris is perfect in that role.
