Description

From Heritage: Flash Gordon (Sam J. Jones) and King Vultan (Brian Blessed) follow a flock of Hawkmen to a spaceship. This is one of the three paintings commissioned by Dino de Laurentiis to represent a missing scene for his pitch to distributors for the unfinished film.

OK, I really love that I had a chance to get this. Can't say it is a grail, because I never knew it existed! However, I still remember going to the theater to see this movie when it first came out, and this is one of my favorite scenes.

Total nostalgia pick? You betcha! However, just by itself, it is an amazing painting by John Bolton. Although I could quite tell on it when bidding, Bolton put on a ridiculous amount of detail, to the point where you can even see a teeny Flash Gordon on the Sky Sled.

Not sure to count this as published or unpublished!

Nothing wrong with a little bit of nostalgia in your life, Heidjer. The only thing I'm wondering about is where the Horror is!!!
