Description

I have always been a big Eternals fan and you all know of my love for the Avengers. Although, not a fan of this outfit, I was happy to see the Forgotten One aka Gilgamesh again and ready to join in the pages of my team. For the record I also did not care for Nanny or Orphan-Maker. I was very confused where Walt Simonson was taking this book. FF characters as Avengers?? I am not sure if this was all Walt's idea or editorial but the art was great.

John Buscema and Tom Palmer The Avengers #299 Story Page 13 Original Art (Marvel, 1989). The Forgotten One leaves Thena and the Eternals home of Olympia as Nanny observes the kidnapped Franklin Richards on this page from the special "Inferno" crossover issue. Ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, trimmed top edge, tape on the top/bottom edges, whiteout corrections/touch-ups, erased marginal notes, taped page number paste-up at the bottom, with light handling wear. In Excellent condition.
