Description

1979. One of FIFTY illustrations done by Estaban Maroto for Andrew J Offutt's novel King Dragon, published as a paperback orginal by Ace in 1980. (On a side-note, Rowena's orginal painting for the cover of this book showed up among Saddam Hussein's possessions after he was toppled!!!)

Such a wicked fantasy illustration! The patterns of the times are so woven into the design. Can't wait for the Heritage catalog for the Saddam Collection.
