Description

It has been about six years since I saw Stephane at a convention, and 11 years since I asked him to add a piece to my Avengers sketchbook. I had first met Steph at his first NYCC way back in 2007, so it was a full circle to see him at the Javitz Center again. Stephane always had an affinity for drawing very sexy female characters, so I figure Mantis would fill the bill. Steph tried to suggest to me maybe a She-Hulk drawing instead, but we agreed that Mantis was my first choice. I also had to emphatically insist that I didn't want the MCU version of Mantis from the Guardians, but the original Avengers version. I loved how this turned out!

It is a more exotic dress design! The tones Roux uses are just as good as full colors.
