Description

Bought this from Andy’s table at Baltimore Comic Con. Apparently it was a pinup that was featured in John Carpenter’s Tales for a HalloweeNight #8 that I was able to look up online and find this published image in color. I really love the design of his killer mermaid that has webbed claws and gills with spinal protrusions along the limbs. I always enjoy seeing merfolk portrayed as deadly undersea predators in art who hunt unsuspecting divers.

Pretty cool that this Mermaid has her own trophy wall! Designed to be in the monster and horror genre in a bygone era, Price extracts fear and suspense out of the audience with that lighting!
