Beautiful example of Walter's work! He gave Thor a real Shakespearean feel that was almost like a classic epic similar to Beowulf or the Nibelungenlied. His run definitely set the benchmark for the character.

Great piece by Steve Rude that captures the pure pulp style of the Fleischer Superman series from the 1940s! It definitely feels like an homage to The Mechanical Monsters episode where Superman dukes it out with several retro sci fi robots controlled by the main villain.

Really great concept for a piece depicting the marine predator Pilosaur hunting a pack of Gillmen during the Jurassic period. The original film established the Gillman's fossils dating back to the Devonian period so a confrontation like this would definitely fit into their species' evolution.

This story is definitely a step back to the 80s when the Ewoks were almost their own franchise with an animated series and two live action for tv films that also introduced Blurgs to the Star Wars Universe.

A very clever nod to the practical difficulties of the suit for the Metaluna Mutant in the original film. Putting pants on the mutant was the result of technical challenges faced by the costume designers too add an exoskeleton to the lower half and still allow mobility for the person wearing it.
