Beautiful poster of one of Ray Harryhausen's best fantasy films! John Philip Law was the best Sinbad in my opinion and the epic fight scene with the statue of Kali was definitely the highlight of the stop motion animation in the movie!

Cool idea for a commission! I never realized until now how much the Morlocks do resemble Tiki sculptures with their exposed teeth. Love George Pal's 1960s adaptation of The Time Machine. The design of the Morlocks in the film were very frightening and still hold up well to today in my opinion.

Great piece by Steve Rude that captures the pure pulp style of the Fleischer Superman series from the 1940s! It definitely feels like an homage to The Mechanical Monsters episode where Superman dukes it out with several retro sci fi robots controlled by the main villain.

Really great concept for a piece depicting the marine predator Pilosaur hunting a pack of Gillmen during the Jurassic period. The original film established the Gillman's fossils dating back to the Devonian period so a confrontation like this would definitely fit into their species' evolution.

A very clever nod to the practical difficulties of the suit for the Metaluna Mutant in the original film. Putting pants on the mutant was the result of technical challenges faced by the costume designers too add an exoskeleton to the lower half and still allow mobility for the person wearing it.
