Description

As a small boy, I loved this story in Superboy #210 “Soljer’s Private War” by Jim Shooter and artwork by Mike Grell.

Lightning Lad inadvertently reanimates a warrior from World War VI outside Metropolis while training. The warrior is still trying to overtake the defenses of Metropolis and is using unseeable weapons that can harm the Legionnaires despite their abilities. His “weapons” can cause a stab wound to Phantom Girl in her intangible state and also aims and fires a blast from a “firearm” that affects Superboy.

I figured he was A) worthy of a sketch card; B) appropriate for the Halloween season seeing he is basically a zombie; and C) a childhood favorite of mine.
