Description

This is a big one for me. Been a while since I have gotten any new originals from Mike. That's because they are pricey, at least for my budget. And I already have some nice pages, sketches and pin ups. That said I always felt there was something missing, a really nice single image cover or painting. Took some searching for the right one, and also from the right era of his work. To me late 90's early 2000's is the sweet spot for my tastes. Not often a published cover with a whole cast of Hellboy universe characters comes up for sale and from 2003. And a drawing of Liz! Had to sacrifice a few pieces from the collection but worth the upgrade. Enjoy the scan ( title is an acetate overlay.)

You hit the target in a big way. Got all you'd want in a Mignola cover image from that unique stylization including use of light/shadow as well as the overall design/graphic goodness...great get, Matt, congrats!

Thanks, yeah very happy with this one. How often do you get a a chance at a cover with the whole BPRD team espcially from so early on in the comic. Plauge of frogs wan't even out yet. I need to get this one framed, Originally I thought mat it but I think I am going to Float it instead.
