In a way McNiven and Leisten are summoning a nostalgia filled adventue bringing back the pre hero Marvel Monsters into the the modern timeline.

this artwork is really nicely illustrated, especially love Fin Fang Foom and how it parallells in the kid's sketchbook. great piece!

"Dangerous game"...yeah, I'd say so :) Nice use of shadow and McNiven's details (with Leisten ink assist) really made these monsters pop. Setting up for an unleashing, indeed! Congrats, Paul!
