Description

"Blood Hunters," the second crowdfunded volume of Aaron Lopresti's supernatural western series Wraith of God, contained three other short stories. One of those introduced Galactic Ranger Kit Carter, a throwback to pulp sci fi adventures with bubble-helmeted space heroines.

Each page in her story was a separate "Episode" to recreate the effect of Golden Age newspaper Sunday strips. In this story, Kit must contend with Zing the Zealous, who may or may not be an homage to Flash Gordon's chief villain. Kit got her own graphic novel "Planet Doom" after this.
