Description

It is very rare to have not only a page from the first issue of The Elementals book, but a page from their first appearance and in the same auction! I was fortunate enough to find a page from their first appearance in of all places Justice Machine Annual #1 in recent years. But this page that appeared in auction was even nicer, featuring 2 of the team members as well as the villain. Again, this page, like the first issue page, went for a lot higher than they ever have before, but seems to be a recurring theme in recent years. These pages are a main focus of my art collection, so I had to go all out for it. Since I have no intention of parting with these pages, I'm not concerned with overpaying for them. You buy what you love! We only truly regret the art we miss out on! So, this completes my recent trifecta of vintage Willingham Elementals art, and I couldn't be happier with the purchases! I'm always looking for pages from this first appearance issue of the Elementals, as well as pages from their first few issues drawn by Willingham. So please contact me if you have any of those, even if they are not for sale at this time. I'd love to know what other pages are out there.

A page that plays like a dossier to Monolith and Fathom! The powered up shots are great as is the small portraits of them in a depowered natural state.
