Laurel Kent by Derec Donovan

Laurel Kent is a descendant of Superman who inherited his invulnerability. Laurel joined the Legion Academy, and trained to eventually join the Legion of Super-Heroes. Then . . . Crisis and Millennium happened, and we don't talk about the stupid things that happened to her character. However, hope has appeared in that Laurel was shown in one version of the future where she had returned and formally become the Superwoman of the 31st Century. I hope we see more of that future someday. Anywho, I asked Derec Donovan to draw Laurel for me and he did a fantastic job. I always liked Laurel's poncho/cape thing that she wore, and Derec drew it well here. I love those folds. Thanks, Derec!

The cosmic band in the background is a classic Legion pin up motif! I love the fashion choice as it was for a particular time period when this look was even a thing.
