Description

Fifth in my "Untold Tales Of Infinity Inc" series - issue 15.1 - with art by Luis Rivera, adapted from John Romita Jr and Terry Austin's cover to Avengers #176.

In 1946, Superman battled the Atom Man (in the radio series), and he was thought to have died after falling from a great height, when Superman lost his grip on the villain as a resjult of his Kryptonite radiation. Over three decades later, he returned - as Atoman, in World's Finest #271 - but was defeated by Superman and the adult Robin, with aid from Earth 1's Superman and Batman, and was taken to a medical facility on Earth 2's West Coast.

However, in 1985, Atoman breaks free, his powers having mutated as a result of medical treatment to now be deadly not just to Kryptonians but to all life on Earth - and vows to capture and kill the children of the Justice Society in order to lure Superman from Metropolis to Los Angeles. Can Infinity Inc - now without their Kryptonian member Power Girl - stand against the atomic-powered villain? Find out - in this issue!

I like the upgrade of the Infitiy Inc. price tier as well to show the baxter series price point! Pure power with the lines filling up the page!
