Description

Continuing the Class of 2025 X-Men cover recreations is Edison Neo's take on Wolverine #2.

I'm 99% positive I found Edison's work in Daniel Warren Johnson's Instagram stories, finding it immediately captivating. Digging into their feed, He's shown a penchant for drawing absolute banger commissions again & again, so when his list opened, I jumped on it.

After sending over several choices from my list, he chose Wolverine #2. It's a perfect choice to display the dynamic ferocity he brings to bear in his commissions.

Here he stays true to the original, but makes it his own with a modern style and detailing, as Wolverine's claws slice through Silver Samurai, off the page, just missing your face. Also, bonus trade dress is always a great addition.

I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye on Edison and getting on his commission list next time it comes around!

Yup, he straight killed it. Love the added energy and depth he brought on with the claw swipe - a classic Neo-ized! Congrats, man!

This is insane! Edison is definitely inspired by Ddubbs and that is a great thing. Such high energy and the ink splatter at the title is a wonderful touch. Congrats Dan, this is a stunner!
