Description

James Dean Smith is a local artist/writer who sold me a few items from his collection including this Boris the Bear Concept drawing which pre-dates his 1986 Dark Horse series. I wrote about it in Back Issue Magazine #125 where I did a short interview with him.

Very cool and historical piece. Can't help but wonder if this character/comic had any influence on Seth McFarlane and his Ted movies.

Missed this one. My comic shop sold my pull list issue. Love when that happens. Ill have to track it down and give it a read.
