This is an unpublished piece. The one Timm did for the Little Shoppe of Horrors inside cover (its either the front or back, I can't recall) isn't as nice as far as I am concerned. It's a bit harsher and harder-edged-- with more of a purple hue than this one. I've had to be at peace with the fact that he does many versions of the same image. Early on, I assumed an original was an original. Now, through his process, I've realized that there are multiple images with different levels of finish, so you need to look very closely at a piece if published is important to you. I went into this one eyes wide open, knowing what I was getting. So is it a prelim? A recreation? I'm going to call it the latter. I love his LSOH stuff. And that he was a Hammer kid, like me.
