DescriptionI told myself I'd only get one cel of each Spike and Faye from this favorite series and that would be it. Done. Move on. Stay away from the rabbit hole that is anime cel collecting. I had another Spike cel with him eating ramen that I love. I've had it for a few years now. Faye proved a lot more elusive but then I ended up adding two Faye cels. It was time to even up the gallery and so here is another Spike cel. I'm feeling an itch to add a cel with other members of the team. I think I need Ein and Edward and then probably Jet Black to have all the bases covered. Maybe I should just sell one of each of the Spike and Faye cels and stick to my original plan and limits.In the additional images you will see this cel on a printed background. This is an extra from one of my Akira cel set-ups. I have a local animation artist help me create backgrounds for cels to help with the presentation of them. I am not sure this is the right one for this cel. Since Spike's head is so big, the background isn't as important. Perhaps I'll dig up the scene and see about having a proper one done. Very nice and wide image! I like that the hair and the mouth also emphasize that too. It's not like they take up any more room than anything else.

Or you could keep stocking up on Spike cels...no such thing as too much Spike Spiegel.
