DescriptionI could write several essays about how important I think this comic was or how important Bill Sienkiewicz is as an artist in comics. I distinctly remember his run on Moon Knight but then him changing comics forever with his sensibilities on New Mutants. How could he do more to shake up the comic world and change the trajectory of the mediuam? Here is your answer in spades. If you know this series, you will know how most pages don't have Elektra on them and many that do might only a fist or a glimpse of here. Here the colors and imagery make for an interesting page. There is even a little Ken Wind balloon (Have you seen the ads for the TV show Severance?). I'm not going to gush about this. This came as a package deal with the Watchmen page I recently posted. I'm done for 2025 already! Now for some other Elektra Assassin piece that are adjacent to this on. Some haunt my walls and others are gone and haunt my dreams. See additional images. Social/Sharing |

Was going to gush on and on about this incredible page. But then I read your description and checked out the additional images of what's on your wall and what you used to own. Now I just hate you!

How many works must a man trade down
Before you call Bill the man?
One crazy piece must have made love fail
Before you kept as a fan?
Yes, and how many lines paint the Natchios sai
Before they're Elektra banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the Wind
Elektra Assassin and the Wind

This is definitely an excellent page. As you say, this is considered quite an "Elektra heavy" page and the entire series was indeed groundbreaking.

I remember thinking at the time, how could Bill compete in the Frank Miller playground

Done for 2025 and we are only three weeks in? Say it isn't so. Although your two pieces that you posted are top top notch! Congrats!

Some let go, some kept, some regrets, not many...but you recently got THIS. Gorgeous example from the run with Ms Natchios prominently featured. As you say, there aren't too many of those kinds of pages. Mixed of unique pure illustration with colors and storytelling make for a top notch piece, man. Congrats!

Oooooh, this one used to live at my house. Stunning, but I had to trade it to get a page from a sequence in issue #8. Congrats on landing it!

awesome jeff.
having just seen this, the reds really flatten out in the scan and alot of gorgeous purple/marroon undertones get lost, so everyone when looking at it, just dial up the saturation in your heads and you will get a better idea of its glory
