DescriptionI've been hunting for a Batman/Gordon/Batsignal piece for a while now and to check that box with a DPS from the Detective Comics run by Jock/Snyder, is just bonkers. One of the many things I enjoyed about Jock was his ability to balance expectations with originality. His take was everything that Batman comics were "supposed" to look like, while simultaneously raising the bar of what they could look like. It was a great run of scripts & art, from an award winning team, and I'm thrilled to put something from that period on the wall. Thanks for taking a look! Social/Sharing |

pretty epic double page spread scene between Batman and Gordon from a memorable run on Tec by Snyder and Jock. It's got everything you'd want, iconic rooftop shot, Bat Symbol in the air, close ups of Batman and Gordon...awesome. congrats!

Thanks! It really hit all the notes I was looking for. And made me glad to have missed out on some other rooftop pieces in the past.

Great stroytelling across the DPS. Can definitely see this as a whole or follow every panel as the story cascades along.

That dualism is one of the first things that drew me to it. Love the big/wide shot, that left side is amazing on its own, but the panels/closeups take it all up a notch.

Phenomenal Detective Comics DPS from the always amazing Jock! Love this huge splash of the Gotham Skyline with tiny Gordon and Batman figures meeting and the Batsignal in the sky. interesting that since the main figures are so small in the splash, Jock adds tighter closeups of both in the inserts he lays on top of the splash scene. That allows us to see the interaction between the two upclose and personal. Also, kudos to Jock for including a superfluous close-up of a pigeon. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
