DescriptionClark dives into the water after Lori Lemaris, only to find her communicating with a giant Octopus!Lori Lemaris is a personal favorite for one of Superman's gal pals and this issue in particular is one of my Top Ten Favorite Superman stories! "Lost Love" has a bit of a Smallville (the tv series) before-it-was-a-thing vibe and recounts Clark's Senior Year at the University of Metropolis where he meets and falls in love with a wheelchair bound girl named Lori Lemaris. Of course he's actually going to become Superman and she's really a Telepathic Mermaid from the lost city of Tritonis, so it's not meant to be. A superbly drawn page and as you mentioned in your video, it doesn't matter that Superman isn't on it because it's still one of your all-time favourite stories! And yeah, this story had a Smallville vibe so many years before that show came into existence. Kudos on a great add, man!
