Description

I've been searching for an example of this strip for almost twenty years, one that both featured the titular hero AND was in my price range. Although the search took longer than I had wished, I must admit I'm delighted with the result- it's all I could have hoped for. The stains in panel three were caused by the loss of a pair of word balloon paste overs, originally necessitated by drawing the balloon tails to the wrong speakers.

Early Dick Moores work don't come up often. It's a great example of his adventure strip with the Dick Tracy like caricatures. Jim looks like Namor here (predates Namor) with his pointy ears, strong eyebrows, and being shirtless.

Congrats I jsut got two myself though both ended up being Jim Conley samples for what became jim Hardy!

Very cool. I was not aware of this title and this is the first example I can remember seeing of Jim Hardy.
