Description

As a New York Mets fan, I'm very happy to be able to post this artwork to commemorate their long awaited signing of first baseman Pete Alonso to a contract extension.

This 8-page comic book was given away at the Mets game on August 12, 2021 (with a matching bobblehead given away the next day). I was able to purchase the original ink art to the entire book including the cover. You can see the story art in this gallery if interested.

This is the blueline ink art by Wayne Faucher based on the pencil artwork of Scot Eaton. Let me know if you own the original Scot Eaton pencil art and I'd be happy to buy it from you - or potentially sell you the ink art if you turn out to be a bigger Mets fan :)

Pete's face is a stat, but the original face was drawn at a larger size on a separate board, which was also included.
