DescriptionI discovered Joe the Barbarian shortly following my own diabetes diagnosis. Sean Murphy's art captures Grant Morrison's script in a powerful way.This page in particular invokes a very Maine vibe to me. I'm was very happy to chat with Sean, and add this to my collection at the Maine Comic Art Fest. That was a few years ago, and Sean was every bit as kind and gracious then as he is today. He is truly one of the nicest people in the art world. The page also appears as the title splash in the collected Joe the Barbarian omnibus. Social/Sharing |

This can be a standalone piece as this uses themes used in sci-fi, horror, or an adventure story to be in awe of the powers at work in the greater scheme of the universe.
