Brainiac 5 is all business, but wtf is up with Blok? He looks completely oblivious to the matter at hand. Deep in thought, or just completely missing the gravity of the situation? Giffen’s distinctive style, combined with Mahlstedt’s polished inks, makes for a striking splash page capturing both tension and a bit of unintentional humor. A great looking piece from a standout Legion era!
