Description

Rebecca Tyler, the Grandniece of Rex Tyler (and CEO of TYLERCO), along with the reformed villain of the 1940's Dr. Iker (who fought with the original Golden Age Hourman aka Rex Tyler) and the current Hourman (the android from the 853rd Century) - - are trying to help Sand Hawkins figure out what's been happening with his recent change from a carbon-based lifeform to a silicon-based lifeform.

I dig this run of JSA and the Android Hourman is one of my favorite characters, so this seemed like a fun page to pick up. A deceptively simple expository page with scientists and super-heroes, yet it also contains a fun nod to Adventure Comics #64 and the Golden Age of DC Comics.

cool! Android Hourman looks really great here. the Michael Bair inking is very good too. nice pickuop!

The Rags solo series of Hourman was cool too, but Aucoin and Bair are just as slick! It has a sick look with how DC did the inking during this time period.

I love the Bair inks! The subtle nod to Adventure Comics #64 adds a great layer for long time DC fans and makes the page engaging. You get exposition, balanced with a touch of nostalgic homage.
