Description(just a fun original piece)penciled, inked and painted by me, on DC comics 2 ply bristol board and the screen tones (dot effect on the tree, and behind the cats) are printed (using my Epson ET15000) onto the art board. I am not a fan of sticker/ adhesive velum screen tones or zipatone. It can yellow (not always) and also the binding glue over time can fail and it can fall off. I think printing the screen tone on the piece is better and will last longer. It takes more planning on the front end of exactly where you want it...but I think it's a better method. (11X17 penciled, inked and hand painted with gouache on DC comics bristol board, screen tones are not paste up zipatone, but printed onto the board with archival ink by my Epson ET15000) Social/Sharing |
