Description

This is the second page of a three-page story called "Last Chance!". The plot of the story is essentially:

- An advanced alien species arrives on Earth.
- They tell us they aren't going to stay and won't share any technology because we're horrible to each other.
- While leaving, they almost kill a child who is saved by an oblivious adult.
- Based on this, the aliens decide it may actually be worth sharing their technology with us.

It's silly, but I like it anyway.

Nah, it just proves that we can't even take care of our own children. That technology is just going to escalate war and bring out our worst instincts. Pretty soon there will be antivax against cures and space laser conspiracies.

While the plot may be a bit out there, it’s a fun and thought-provoking moment that highlights the unique blend of science fiction and moral lessons that were often found in these stories. A great piece for anyone who loves vintage, offbeat comics!
