DescriptionThe second season of Andor premiered this week, and Star Wars month is right around the corner. Probably a good time to upload a page to my galleries. In the last issue, Zodoh the Hutt announced his intentions to create an artificial global flood on Aquilaris Minor, homeworld of Jedi Knight Kerra Holt. As issue 3 opens, Kerra has disengaged from a dogfight with Zodoh's minions and flown back to Aquilaris, intending to save her people from the coming storm. Kerra tries to organize an evacuation on Capital Cay to move the locals to higher grounds. While visiting the submersible docking yards, Kerra encounters a despondent and dejected Joad (a childhood friend) and tries unsuccessfully to persuade him to help with the evacuation. Out of frustration, here Kerra kicks a food container open, only to discover that it is filled with Deluge (a particularly addictive form of narcotic spice). Kerra quickly realizes that Devil Squadron, who she had been assisting in the space battle believing them to be Republic forces, are actually spice dealers who were deliberately distributing Deluge among occupied populations in the sector. These are the original blue pencil layouts (not printed digital blue lines) by Iban Coello. I believe there are corresponding boards out there for inker Sergio Abad. This page was a birthday present from my wife (thanks Peanut!). Social/Sharing |

Bombarding us with this stuff for 31 straight days beginning less than a week from now isn't enough? You have to get an early start to the festivities? You're a wild man!

I got a late start putting it all together this year, but have the first 20 days now set and ready to click on. Hope to get the last 11 days ready over the weekend. I'll squeeze a couple other things out over the next few days as well, just as a pallet cleanser for you!

I promise something old, something new, something Dark Horse, and something blue lined. I am a Wedding after all, we have traditions. Ha!

Awesome gift!!! I love Iban's true blue pencils on this title. Would be interesting to see the final inked versions but the pure line art is just so nice especially in this medium.
Between a very interesting Star Wars Celebration already wrapped up from Japan, the 3 episode premire of Andor Season 2 (which I freaking loved and thought was amazing so far), Tales Of the Underworld premiering on May 4 and a month of Star Wars festivities still to come I'm feeling like Star Wars Month definately started about a week and a half early this year. I might have to start my sharing a little early as well. Thanks for the nudge!

I am not sure if any of Sergio's art is out in the wild. And before now, I've never made a concerted effort to look for it. It seems he does have a website with examples of his inked pages posted. I may have to try that contact button some day and see if he still has them, and if any might be available.
