Ramon Villalobos - Nighthawk #1 p 2-3 (Censored shirt)

Some series age like fine wine�this would be one of them. Nighthawk is a perfect example of David F. Walker�s talent�sharp, unflinching, and way ahead of its time. He�s carried that same energy into Bitter Root, Naomi, and Luke Cage, but this one still hits differently. Ramon Villalobos is so underrated, and his art gives this book a grit and style that make it unforgettable. Like come on, does anyone draw better shoes? It came out years before George Floyd and the protests that followed, unfortunately for all of us, it feels like it could have been written today. While this has great action and is very representative of Ramon firing on all cylinders, the most interesting part is that the MAGA shirt of one of the extremists was censored by Marvel. I prefer the original.

If Marvel pubished it as is, you would have their feelings hurt and you know how they get when they have their feelings are hurt. They would make endless youtube videos about it to distract you from the price of eggs and the stock market falling.
