Description

I was very pleased with how my Nausicaä color bust commission from Filipe turned out last year, so when an email announcing a new opportunity for NYCC 2024 unexpectedly materialized in my inbox I didn't have to hesitate long.

The idea of adding a 'matching' Kushana to have two of my favourite powerful women characters represented next to each other was something I'd been toying with ever since first receiving Nausicaä. I believe she turned out great and they go together quite well.

It's very funny I made sure to check Instagram daily for months after NYCC hoping to see it, watching all the other cool Andrade comms pass by, and then he posts it on the exact same day I get my hands on it. Felix was kind enough though to provide the scan upon my request when he mailed it a couple of weeks back, so I did get to see it early.
