Many moons ago, he messaged me out of the blue and inquired about my newly acquired and posted Zaffino Conan pages. He was curious where I had gotten them so I spilled the tea. Zaffino had left his art rep and had signed up with Jason at InkyKnuckles. Jason, in turn, emailed me with the news and sent me scans of the entire Conan issue, asking if I was interested in any of the pages and telling me that the news of Zaffino's art rep switch hadn't been released yet, but he was giving me first shot at the art. (I dont know what I did to deserve this but I was thankful for the opportunity and bought three pages). I shared this information with Kent and gave him Jason's contact details and left it at that. Many months later Kent messaged me very much appreciative and enthusiastic that I was willing to share what I knew and informed me he bought, essentially, all the remaining pages from the Zaffino Conan issue! He then went on to explain that his name wasn't Kent Mansley. Rather, he was Andy B - and he worked at Pixar - and he wanted to send me something via USPS to show his appreciation. I didn't believe him but was curious enough to give him my information and sure enough, I received, in the mail, a wonderfully delightful packet of Pixar related limited edition art as well as a handwritten note and some doodles of Andy's. Fast forward a few years and Andy donated a bunch of art doodles to Felix for Felix's family foundation charity sale. So a friendship was forged. What a great guy!
