Description

Fun piece I picked up in the #oax2025 auction , even if it isn’t published. Growing up I was a big fan of the original valiant universe .. and Harbinger was my favorite of the titles. If you are unfamiliar it’s kind of X-men turned on its ear. The early run was fantastic.. and one of the original characters was Zephyr.. or Faith. In true valiant renegade nature you had a chubby girl who had the power of flight! So when I saw this fully realized yet unused cover of a nostalgic character by an artist so intimately tied to the formation of the valiant universe … why not! Bob does a great job capturing Faith.. her pure of heart nature and overly helpfulness.. it’s a shame that Valiant universe has been bounced around so much and the characters never seem to get a long enough leash even when they are starting to gain traction.

If only you knew how to get a hold of the publisher of Valiant back then. You could have sent him texts with the word "Reminder" over and over again so he could the characters properly.
