Description

The Beyonder is back, and this time he's f'n with kids instead of the A league. New Mutants 36 takes place during the Secret Wars II miniseries. The Beyonder removes Magik's evil side and sends her back to the other muties to 'one of us' them. But without her connection to the Darkchylde, the walls of Limbo are opening, and her ties to it are transferred to her bestie, Kitty. Illyana was totally prepared to bring the rest of the New Mutants into the cult of Beyonderology, but the peril of Pryde was too much!

Josh is the best, and after giving him some hulking brutes on my last commission, I thought Kitty was a nice counterpoint.

Very nice theme with a swashbuckler look! I like the half phase showing her level of control without needing to break concentration.

Cassara always seems to deliver on his commissions and this is another nice example of that. I love the subtle use of her powers here!
