Description

Iron Man has long been one of my favorite Marvel Comics heroes! I've always loved his original armor design. The clunky style armor was only in nine issues before Tony Stark developed the longer lived, classic red/yellow armor design.

This page gives me Tales of Suspense #39 vibes, as Stark testing the armor reminds me of the cover to that key issue.

Don Heck did nice work here. I like how he successfully made Tony Stark handsome, which was a vital part of the character.

Obviously a lot of Tony/Iron Man but also has a fun vibe and some ice details on the backgrounds!

I've never heard it referred to as chain mail armor. Way cool!
