DescriptionThe X-Men have always been my favorite. The X-Men Animated Series was what got me into comics. Owning an early X-Men page by Jack Kirby AND inked my Chic Stone was a goal of mine for years. Chic Stone is my all-time favorite Kirby inker. Not only did I require that my X-Men page be illustrated by Jack and Chic, but I also wanted it to feature either Cyclops or Iceman using their mutant powers. I was fortunate enough to find my page! I got everything I wanted with this page. Not only did I get Iceman using his powers, but it's a full-fledged action page featuring Beast, Cyclops, Ka-Zar, and Zabu. Oddly, X-Men #10 has long been one of my favorite X-Men covers. Not sure why. This X-Men page is Silver Age Marvel Comics at its finest! Social/Sharing |

It's a favorite X-Men cover because of the crossover, the bold artwork of Jack Kirby, plus it has the M.M.M.S. label that invited kids to be part of the club! This is a great page within that delivers on the promise of the cover to take us into the Savage Land for a great adventure pitting X-Men vs Ka-Zar!

Indeed on all accounts! That MMMS label is a nice piece of Silver Age Marvel fandom. The thick lines of Chic Stone's inking made the cover art even bolder.

Great art by The King from this classic Silver Age issue where Marvel re-introduced their blonde Tarzan and Zabu, his nice little pet tiger :) Huge congrats !
