DescriptionArcher & Armstrong vol. # 3 October 2012"The Existence of God Proven! (Or Disproven!)" pg 16 Pencil on comic art board Pencils: Clayton Henry Writer: Fred Van Lente Those email forwards Grandma sends you? Every lurid cover of every supermarket tabloid? That website rambling on about truthers, birthers and black ops alien greys working for the U.N.? ALL TRUE. The Sect has dragged a curtain of confusion across the inner workings of the world, but fear not, the conspiracy-busters Archer & Armstrong are here to deliver Truth in the form of ass-kicking! But our heroes’ newfound friendship will face its greatest test as they battle The Sisters of Perpetual Darkness. Obadiah Archer thought he had been betrayed by his family before, but nothing can prepare him for this! The title tells the story of a teenager named Archer who has been trained as an assassin by religious fanatics. He’s sent on a mission to kill Armstrong, a man old as civilization itself, but finds that he’s been lied to all his life. Archer soon teams up with Armstrong to protect a relic powerful enough to destroy civilization from The Sect, a globe-spanning secret society that wants to harness the relic’s power for their own designs. Archer & Armstrong #3 from the New York Times best-selling creative team of writer Fred Van Lente and artist Clayton Henry! Get ready for a showdown beneath Rome with the dreaded Sisters of Perpetual Darkness! Archer & Armstrong have leapt one step ahead of the The Sect in their worldwide race to collect the fragments of the mythical Boon. But will the ninja nuns that protect the Vatican’s archive of forbidden knowledge prevent Valiant’s newest adventurers from acquiring the next clue they need to complete their quest? If they fail, the Boon’s civilization-leveling powers might just end everything – again. So when another member of the Archer clan suddenly appears, will Archer & Armstrong walk into their latest melee with a new ally at their side – or a knife in the back? Social/Sharing |
