DescriptionVery well detailed prelim by Wrightson of Swamp Thing getting up in the rubble and escaping down the river from the castle that just exploded into flames as it falls down the mountain. Patchwork is also in this page on the top right panel, he tried to save Swamp Thing but lost grip as he destroys Arcane's Laboratory. Huge fan of Wrightson and so happy to add another Swamp Thing prelim to the collection with how well rendered each panel is.Social/Sharing |

This shows how thoughtful the whole process was for Wrightson to create the story with layouts done for pacing and hightlight storybeats that would become an all time classic.

Always welcome to see the "workings out", the careful planning that went into each page. Every page of the 10-issue run is seared into my brain but it is always convenient to see the published page directly below as well. Thank you.
