Description

A great story page by Budd Root which features the beautiful Lil as she and Stuart recount the origins of Meriem and how she became Cavewoman. Also features a superpowered gramps in the origins flashback coming to save the day with a rare glimpse at Meriem and her scantily glad mother before fleeing to the time machine! Created in ink over graphite on standard illustration sized board measuring 11"x17". Signed and dated by Budd Root in the bottom right corner. In excellent condition.

The amount of text on the page is crazy, but yet, it doesn't seem too out of control. I don't know how that works, but there is almost as many words as there is in a later Ditko page. - Great page!

I think Root packed as much into these origin pages as possible just for this unique occassion so he can go back to drawing the bigger pin up pieces afterwards.
