How do you commission of series of X-Men pieces and not get good old Hank McCoy? Jim successfully tapped into the ferocity you see from Beast in action. It's another striking piece because Beast is leaping off the paper. The flare motif runs throughout this series and contrasts with the very dark letter box border. I love the paneled walls, which remind me of the second Sega X-Men game (The Clone Wars). Beast has his own level versus the Phalanx, which is similarly set. I also think it's Hank descending on an enemy. Overall, an awesome piece.
