Description

Double page splash featuring some visually interesting characters from the X-mythology. What won me over in this piece is the excellent study in body language and facial expressions of the characters. And Rachael Dodson's inks are simply beautiful.

It feels so real with the Dodsons giving bold outlines and filling up the shapes and volume to the human form with hard solid inks. Very precise artwork and there is a balance of light and dark from everyone's costumes for a character designed like Dagger to pop out in contrast.

Sodson's style is very recognisable in this very beautiful way. I love the balance between "blacks" and "whites" especially on Cloak!
