Description

Amy Larkin was the pen name of Olive Ann Burns, a journalist and novelist best known for her book Cold Sassy Tree. Before becoming a novelist, Burns worked for the Atlanta Journal and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Magazine, where she wrote an advice column under the pseudonym "Amy Larkin" from the late 1950s until 1967.

Her work as Amy Larkin showcased her wit and insight, offering advice to readers on various personal matters. This experience in journalism and storytelling laid the groundwork for her later success as a novelist.
