Description

A classic page featuring a beautiful large full-body illustration of Elvira as she faces media mogul "Ted Turnip" (a parody of Ted Turner)! Artwork by legendary illustrators Dave Cockrum (pencils) and Jim Mooney (inks). Illustrated on standard Valiant Illustration board measuring 11"x17" and in excellent condition. Full page of original art, and below Elvira's waist is stat over original art that was changed for the final publishing. Appears that they may have wanted to make her slightly taller and adjust dialogue bubbles. On the back is a hilarious note from Jim Mooney that he wasn't a huge fan of the Elvira face in the full-pose, and blamed the penciler! Published synopsis: Elvira's quest to help her pals Teen Frankenstein, Teen Werewolf and Teen Dracula leads her to infiltrate the empire of media mogul Ted Turnip in "Back to the Bloodbank, Part Two," the new serial by Lou Mougin, Dave Cockrum and Jim Mooney.

Full height to show what a statuesque beauty Elvira is! Two great verterans! Maybe they fell out of favor in the 90's image era, but they could still deliver the classic charm of comics!
