DescriptionAvengers #9 p20 Don Heck Wonderman and Masters of EvilWonderman has a change of heart after the Avengers lay defeated and turns against Zemo and the Masters of Evil, even though he knows his betrayal will cost him his life. This is the fourth sequential page I've acquired from this issue and to me the sequence cements Don Heck as a great storyteller. Each panel advances the story in a way quite unlike the battle royale sequences we see today. In this page Wonderman secures his place in Avengers history! Social/Sharing |

Great large art Avengers page! This is early and was so imaginative in opening possibilities with the Marvel all star lineup! Masters of Evil with villains that, like the Avengers themselves have gained even more prominance through the years!

I meant also to say that the pages check so many collecting boxes - from early Avengers, Wonder Man first appearance, historical issue, great story and signature early Heck art etc.
