Description

The breakout star of Vertigo's Sandman series is, without question, Dream's older sister: Death. It was a refreshing take on the concept of Death as an entity... not good or evil, not vengeful, but surprisingly compassionate and upbeat. There are only a few splash pages from her first miniseries, and few as stunning as this one. The recent announcement that an adaptation of The High Cost of Living would be featured as the bonus episode capping the second and final season ofthe Sandman TV series makes this page all the more appealing.
