Shikari by Nate Stockman

I am a huge fan of Nate Stockman, and I am a huge fan of the Legion of Super-Heroes. So, when Nate started posting these Legionnaire drawings using his more animated style, I loved them all. And not long after messaging him about them, a deal was struck where I would purchase them all! I received the original black and white art along with a digital file of the colored version. This one features the second Legionnaire to have wings and pathfinding abilities - Shikari Lonestar! Shikari was a member of the Reboot Legion who originated from a far-off galaxy. She was a member of the Kwai race, humanoid insects who have retractable armor and wings. Shikari was instrumental in returning a group of "Lost" Legionnaires home, and became a valued member of the team. Nate depicts her here flying at the viewer, and he did a wonderful job on the colors, I especially love that hair. Thanks, Nate!

Smooth animation take by Stockman where the pose accentuates her insect features. The green/teal color is also a nice throwback to the 90's.
