Description

Bereet and Sturky are two of my favorite Hulk supporting characters because they were a big part of the book shortly after I first started reading it. I have wanted to get them in my Hulk Friends, Foes, and Family Sketchbook since I started it.

They are the very epitome of what I had in mind for the book and, being there at the genesis of both my specific Hulk fandom as well as my overall comic fandom, they hold a special place in my geeky little heart. But they had to be done by the perfect artist.

Steve Leialoha did the cover to INCREDIBLE HULK #280, which prominently features Bereet. I love that cover and knew he was the guy. I was right.

This has instantly become one of my favorite sketches. I love the characters and I love his style. It is absolutely everything I wanted from a Bereet sketch.

Making it even cooler is that I can�t find any evidence online of another Bereet sketch. I�m sure there are some out there, but I love having such an amazing sketch of a character I�m so fond of and it being such a rare thing.

So grateful to Steve for delivering to the umpteenth degree on a sketch that was so important to me.
