DescriptionWhen I was getting ready to attend Heroes this year, I decided to reach out to Patrick Olliffe and get a commission from him. I read Untold Tales of Spider-Man in the 90s, and always liked Olliffe’s pencils on that book, and I also really liked his perspective and his use of motion in story telling. When he asked what I was looking to get, I just said 90’s ASM, and do what you do with perspective and motion.Well when I went to pick this up I was thrilled. Patrick and I spoke about the piece for quite some time and he mentioned how much he loves drawing Spider-Man and doesn’t get as much opportunity to do it as he used to. Well he hit the 90s vibe I was hoping for, and I am very happy to add this to my collection. Social/Sharing |

Pretty cool with all the detail around, but it's that straight on headshot that you can cut out and recognize as an Olliffe Spidey that makes this piece so uniquely his.

This piece is comics 101, detail in the foreground, less in the mid and just shapes in the bacground. Masterful. Great pickup Eric.

It's not often you get half of the chest symbol and half of the back symbol in the same piece. Everyone else has already noted most of what I loved about the piece, but awesome to see it get the highlight today!
