Description

I had a great time at HeroesCon 2025 and finally managed to pick up a proper piece of art from Ben: this xenomorph caught my eye on his Instagram, and I had to have it. It was created for Alien Day in April. If anyone involved in publishing Alien comics happen to see this, I think we need Ben on an Alien book. I love the balance between the loose painting and the detailed line work, as well as how the figure "disappears" into the background at the hips. It beautifully expresses how terrifying these monsters are in the films (particularly the first one where we are introduced to them). Ben published this work as a metallic print with a darker copper coloring (also great), which I have in my prints gallery. The original is mixed media on grey toned Bristol measuring 8.5" x 11".
