purchased during the matt Ditullio art drop on comic art fans show (4/23/25) this beautiful painted piece featuring the Silver Surfer as he glides through the cosmos looking for new adventures. Mike mckone does his usual spectacular job off bringing the surfer to life as he almost flies off the page toward you. the painted piece measures 11x17.

It's a great POV shot in the same manner of the Silver Surfer #1 cover. More dynamic with the reflections on the bottom of the board and colors suggesting motion through the nebula.

yes it looks like he is breaking through the atmoshere into space

Beautiful work. The expression makes it look like he's telling himself a joke or planning something sneaky!

Amazing painting of the Silver Surfer from Mike McKone! I love this view of the Surfer flying right at the viewer! It's almost like he's about to reach down and sweep the viewer up onto his board! Not that I would mind that. Stunning pick-up, congrats!
